There is something that i just recently heard about, and wish to learn more on, that was featured on an episode of the late 50s early 60s tv show One Step Beyond. This series is very unique, in that it deals with the "paranormal, or psychic", but unlike shows such as The Twilight Zone, One Step Beyonds bizarre stories are taken directly from documented newspaper archives, that is, things that those involved with claim really happened, and not just created out of thin air.
Much of what is presented, is, i admit, pretty hard to accept really happened, but it is fascinating to think about.
One episode was the story of three buddies on a weekend retreat at a cottage, and they start to play a game that one of their fathers picked up in Hong Kong, and just collected dust, so they pull it out and start to play. It involves placing some wooden sticks in a Hexagon, with one person holding another stick by the tips of his fingers, sitting cross legged, and with his two friends sitting cross legged , one across from him and one beside him. A message related to the stick and Confucius is read out, and then all are to become silent, thus emptying their minds of anything at all.
The one holding the stick started to literally act out being a leopard, and claimed he was literally transported into a state of being such an animal for real.
Later that same weekend, they all leave to go back home, but their "leopard friend" was never seen of again, and the funny thing was that the authorities reported seeing a real leopard in the woods, and had it killed soon after, the puzzling thing being that leopards are not known to inhabit the western hemisphere (this story took place in the US)
Does anybody know the real name of this game, and a bit more about it?

It looks like a mix between the "Chinese chess" and the Yi-King (or Yi-Jing).
