Ego is the synthesis of a musical evolution, which has brought together three musicians, all of them active since many years, with several years' experience in the underground music scene. Their common passion for historical bands of the seventies, both foreign and, above all, Italian (such as Le Orme, Goblin, Metamorfosi, PFM, etc..) together with the interest in many different musical genres has let these three skilled musicians break down those fixed schemes, wich prevented them from freely expressing themselves. Such a consideration has made the band's members find their own way, conscious of what dealing with this genre nowadays means. The choice of a trio finds its roots in the strong friendship aong them. Moreover, the fact of playing many instruments each has enriched their compositions, setting their souls free. As far as their musical philosophy is concerned , the decision of adopting only instruments (which means no voice and no text leading the tracks) lets each listener accomplish a free interpretation of any compositions. Thus everyone can give a personal interpretation of the work, following his/her own imagination, which means the chance to let one’ s soul fly away…exactly in search on one’ s inner “ Ego”.

Ego are from Varese, Italy. This is their fourth album.
