Back before I understood how the site worked, I rated a lot (read: A LOT!) of albums without giving reviews, because I was oddly ignorant about the process. So, I now have a lot of RWR that I've been trying to go back and review for the sake of my own internal need to fulfill what I feel is a necessary duty. This has proved to be very time consuming.

Anyway, I was wondering if there was any possibility of adding a sort of "review manager" function in the "edit review" page for each user that would allow them to delete their reviews/ratings if they felt that it was necessary. It seems like a good idea to me, considering that in the site guideline pages there is a line stating that it is time consuming (and probably annoying) to delete reviews/ratings.

Thoughts?

Personally I am totally against members deleting or removing reviews. People have before got the hump about something or other and requested having their reviews removed......sorry part owned by PA and put out into cyberspace so on that front a big NO.....IMO.

Now amending your reviews cos they need refreshing, editing or replacing a rating with a review is prefectly fine.

The thread title is wrong.

But on the thread title it would be nice if one could delete ones own posts.
