They where realesed around the same time, both albums ended the classic period for each band sort of, One have a tree on the cover the other the earth so both has have a nature theme sort of. Both start with W, as you can se the similarites are endless, yet the music is very diffrent. Now vote! Tongue

Wind and Wuthering, without a doubt, however World Record is also not bad.

"World Record". I love that album; it is in my opinion better than "Still Life".

World Record, just can't finish Wind and Wuthering. After side one I always feel like listening to something else.

I like both, but prefer World Record  -- it's a more interesting/ vibrant album to me, but then VdGG generally interests me much more than Genesis.  That said, Blood on the Rooftops and One for The Vine rank amongst my favourite Genesis compositions, and I was once gaga (not Lady) for those songs, but, for instance, I would rather listen to When She Comes and Meurglys III.

Wind and Wuthering is one of my favorite albums ever, so it gets my vote.  I have yet to get bitten by the VDGG bug, but I recognize their quality and influence.

What do you think of World Record compared to VdGG's more classic albums such as Pawn Hearts and H to He?

World Record.

W&W isn't bad at all, but WR edges it.

W&W is a great album. Melancholic album and the last one with Steve Hackett. Perhaps is more Tony Banks album.9,5
WR: is the third album of the trilogy 75-76 of VDGG. RR, terrenal and underrated. For me 9,75.
So the winner is...VDGG.
