Not spamming or anything

but has anyone got one of these

or know anything about it?

its called a pick punch and apparently you punch out your own picks, like a hole punch. expensive but good idea. I was interested in etting one but not sure cos you would have to have the materials to punch, you could punch your old credit cards but not good for the strings

Bass or lead guitar punches of course

Good idea though

well in a pinch I used to cut up anything made of bendy plastic--  my personal favorites are the Dunlop Nylons; they tapir nicely at the edges, never slip out of your fingers, and never break or wear out, so I'd need a pick-punch that could do that to a piece of nylon

I've heard about these before, not sure if I'd ever get them though. What's on my pick doesn't really matter to me, and I can buy like 40 picks for $25.95.
Do they round the edges at all, or are they flat/straight all round?

Now wait. Is that a stapler? I mean, the thing that makes holes in the paper?

Where do you get plastic sheets? And do the edges need some finishing?

As far as i can tell the picks are taken from any hard substance such as credit cards, placemats or you can super glue an image in the centre such as a comic

pictures all over the net website as follows.

I emailed the guy and asked about postage.

The sheets are sold separately if you need them and you can sand off for professional edge

The funny thing about picks is that have this habit of disappearing into a parallel universe and then showing up where you'd lease expect them.  It only happens when you go out and buy some more.  This is why I toss them in the hole of my acoustic guitar and have much fun trying to shake them back out.  Tongue

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

hahaLOL
I hate shaking picks out - but it makes a proggy RIO sound like an off kilter percussion.

I don't use picks.  My nails are free picks that I can shape however I want and use multiple of at once.

I have a specific pick I use and though I've tried and tried to use others, this one works best for me. Really, once you've gotten accustomed to a specific style, it becomes part of your unconscious expression.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

I use the red versions of these, which AFAIK have less grip. Awesome picks, only ones I can really use after getting used to them.

I have one. I Think I'm the only one here. Got it last Christmas. It's very very useful. And cheap, (in price, not quality). I really enjoy it, and also enjoy showing off to my friends with it, and my friends enjoy being showed off by it! There's a lot of uses for it and once you have one you'll be looking all around you for days for things to make picks out of.
