Hello everyone! I'm Ocyboss, i'm fifteen years old and i come from Italy.
Although i'm fifteen i have a great passion for Progressive Rock, and I always stood out from the crowd in music. My peers only listen to mainstream music, and think that the music i listen to is too old-fashioned, boring and so on.
I discovered the progressive rock about a year ago, when i found on internet the group "Locanda delle fate". I heard the album  "Forse le lucciole non si amano pił" so skeptical, but I was fascinated.I already knew some foreign group of progressive rock, like Pink Floyd and Genesis, but never heard, except of course the most famous of Pink Floyd, like "Shine on you crazy diamond " and "Another brick in the wall".

At the moment i know this groups: Premiata Forneria Marconi, Banco del mutuo soccorso, Le orme, Area, Arti e mestieri, Locanda delle fate, Il rovescio della medaglia, Raccomandata ricevuta ritorno, Alphataurus, Campo di marte, Goblin, Il balletto di bronzo, Maxophone, Museo Rosenbach, Nuova era, Rocky's fily, Pink floyd, Genesis, King crimson, Emerson lake and palmer.

Any suggestion?

I hope i will be good here :)

Hello! Refreshing to see someone whose prog experience is mostly on the Italian side ... a lot of new members here list artists like Dream Theater, Yes, Genesis King Crimson, etc. and while there is nothing wrong with that, it's just interesting to see a list with none of these bands leading the charge.

Although, I think you would probably like Yes, based on what artsits you've listed that I know. I must admit that you already know much more about Italian prog than me. =)
