Also Prog Rockers get the blues … although it could be argued that this selection is not always necessarily blues in the classical sense … but anyway,  who does it the best?

"Progressive blues"

Wasn't this essentially what Hendrix, Cream, Zeppelin and Sabbath were?

Oh, I get it, it doesn't have to be a blues song it just has to have blues in the title?

Jugband Blues is a great song, definetely one of Syd Barrett's finest achievements.

Dead Flag Blues - Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

"the car's on fire, and there's no driver at the wheel...
the government is corrupt, and we're on so many drugs with the radio on and the curtains drawn, and the flag are all dead at the top of their poles...
i open up my wallet, and its full of blood."

Jugband Blues would be the closest to prog/blues to my ears.

I define "progressive blues" based on Zeppelin's In My Time Of Dying. I only know Floyd's song from this list.

I really dig the 39th Street Blues, so I'm going to have to vote for that.
