Jungle was a short-lived (as usual ;-) band from USA which recorded album simple called "Jungle" in 1969. They played organ/guitar driven psych/proto-prog typical for those times.

Checked their album "Jungle" and ... a very tough case indeed.
Some songs smell like a Japanese psych pioneer The Happenings Four, some (track 2 and 4) are too poppy to be called as progressive, but throughout the whole album they can be in PA as a Proto-Prog (if they can exert influence upon younger progressive bands), or Psych Prog methinks.

I'll ask the other members of Psych Team about them ... thanks a lot Tom.
