It seems my permissions have been taken away.  Can no longer vote on polls, etc.  Please help?

Thanks.

New rule regarding newbies and polls.

All you need to do is post six more times.  Do it here if you like.  Post nonsense.  That's what most of us do.  Then you'll be bumped up to a 2-star member and can vote all you like.  Smile

You need 40 to become a groupie and gain the ability to vote.

'Groupie' is such a flattering phrase isn't it

I think the term should be junior instead groupie. Newbie then junior then senior member.

Probably, but wouldn't the admins be sad to lose their groupies? Daddy's gotta have his sugar...

Freak knows I've posted a lot of nonsense on this site. I can't even make it beyond Prog Reviewer.and I have been on the site since early '94.

Thank you for the replies.  Let the nonsense begin.

I would like to mention something about the topic of Genesis being over-rated.  If it weren't for Genesis. I would never have gotten to where I am as a prog-lover.  I would have never experienced the Whirlwind and Marbles and Topographic Oceans and Sola Scriptura.  So thank you to Genesis for creating music that I found unique and challenging and ultimately very satisfying.  It led me down a wonderful path...

Ok, here is some more nonsense...
I am pretty sure that i have never seen a concert as brilliant as the Whirlwind show last April in LA.  And praise the Lord, the DVD is even better.

Looks like I have 3 more posts until getting my staus back.  I am looking forward to the Montreal Marillion convention.   I went to the last one and it was so much fun and I made some friends that I am looking forward to seeing again.  I am taking my wife this time.  It will be our twentieth wedding anniversary.  Just got the cd in the mail from the second two nights in Montreal in 2009.  Can't wait for the DVD to come out!  Come on April!

OK, running out of thoughts.   Nobody is going to read this stuff anyway but don't want to waste perfectly good cyberspace.  A thought about Mike Portnoy:  There has been a lot of stuff out on the web about him recently, not all of it very complimentary.  I would like to offer my support to Mike in whatever direction he goes in.  He is a crazy-good drummer with an unbelievable musical sense.  The new project with Neal Morse and Dave LaRue sounds exciting, as does the new Neal Morse Testimony cd.  I wish I could attend the Yellow Custard Beatles tribute show they are putting on in Long Beach next month.  Good luck Mike, and make sure you keep a little Prog in yor life cause you are so good at it.
