i've never heard any mention of Steve Harris of iron maiden using bass pedals but was listening to Somewhere In Time album earlier and at the start of the final song Alexander The Great there was some low synth notes that sounded distinctly like a Moog Taurus bass pedals. I know they all used guitar and bass synth effects on this album but there is no mention of bass pedals, does anyone know if they did use bass pedals on this album or any other album?

I was wonder that myself...I mean, he's credited with 'bass synth' on Somewhere In Time...and if it sounds like Taurus what else could it be? I really doubt he was using Manzarek's bass keyboard accompaniment for organ or Roland TB-303Smile

I think they used midi pick ups for guitar and bass to control synthesizer in the studio.

I suspect it's been done in the studio rather than Steve using pedals.
