These Hammill's solo albums are my favourites.

It's hard to chose the best but I think I'll vote for  1974's masterpiece because of  "A Louse is not a Home"

P.S. Strongly recommended for those who had never listened to these works  .

Over is one of the most emotional albums I've ever heard. Hammill conveys the pains and thoughts one goes through in the end of a long and important relationship with such power it's sometimes almost painful to listen. Over is an expectionally beautiful and underrated album.

The Silent Corner and the Empty Stage is great, but loses this match.

Lately I've been rediscovering how great 1980's 'A Black Box' is. But voted for 'Silent Corner' here, as it's more interesting and memorable than 'Over'...'Over' is cool, but some of the songs still haven't stuck with me after many listens.

Hammill rules.

Tough call.

Over by hairs (at least today).

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

That is a hard decision. I'm gonna go with Over though.

yes, "A Black Box" is great... first four minutes of the "Flight" are maybe the most beautiful Peter ever wrote.
Oh yes, I pick Silent Corner but is a tough choice!
