Apart from the music I see Colin Escott is doing the notes. You could not find anyone better. He was the man who did the notes and co wrote the book on Hank Williams and he has done a heap of notes for Bear Family " Jerry Lee Lewis", "Wynn Stewart","Stonewall Jackson","Vernon Oxford' and the list goes on. He also used to do notes with Charles Wolfe who is even better ( Sorry Colin). Charles passed away a couple of years back and Old Timey country and Bluegrass, specifically Bill Monroe. He was the world Authority on the subject as far as I am concerned.

Thought I would put this up because over the years you get to know who the real good ones are. These blokes taught me country.ClapClapClapClapClap

I love Dylan's first recordings, and adding liner notes by an expert in country music must be really worth buying. Hope I will see this for cheap soon in a second-hand store.
