Hello PA, there is one thing that has been bugging me for a few days, and that is why I turn to you. I've been looking around a bit on google and tried to find the cause for Pekka Pohjola's death. But I couldn't find anything. So what I am wondering is: Does anyone here know why he died? If so, could you tell me? Thanks

Just out of interest: what's the information for?

No-one really said it anywhere, not in the media at least, and there's no book of him yet as far as I know. But I have my ideas, I reckon he, like most rockstars was no stranger to whiskey. I would not want to offend anyone, so I won't claim this to be any more true than anything else as the reason is nowhere to be found.

Likewise, it's just out of interest. I would feel much better if I knew what happened to him =p

I almost created the exact same topic recently...so I want this to be bumped up.

Which of you to gain me, tell, will risk uncertain pains of hell?
I will not forgive you if you will not take the chance.

It's a mystery, but I think it's completely understandable they didn't publish the information. At the end of the day, it's simply none of our business. Very sad though.

I bought Matematician's Air Display this summer in Florence. Excellent stuff!

I didn't even know he was dead.

I read it on the notes of the remaster cd (it is said he passed on at november 2008, just two years ago now).

What sad new... he was very young, only 56...
