this song by Elton which he plays live, in the solo some small string texture sound enters the scene but I see no violins or cellos, how dose he make a Grand-piano produce such string sound, tell me about it, I know it is some sort of effect but can someone tell me how it works

You can modify a grand piano to utilise MIDI i.e. playing the keys can trigger other sounds sourced from an external tone generator or sampler. I know that Keith Emerson has used something similar in the past in the live realm where a string pad sound was layered onto that of the piano triggered by his release time e.g if he held a long chord the string patch would swell up behind the piano sound.

I can't hear sound on my PC at the moment (soundcard gremlins) so can't say if Elton is doing similar
