I realized virtually all my polls are about Dream Theater, so I decided to switch it up.
It's definitely one of the best jazz records ever recorded, and all the songs on the album are now jazz standards.

My favorite is All Blues. It's just so amazing. The whole composition is fantastic. My favorite 6/8 groove of all time Wink

For me it's Blue In Green, which is sheer beauty.

Flamenco Sketches all the way for me. I have yet to hear another piece of music that speaks to me in such a deep and powerful way. Possibly my number one greatest track of all time.

The rest of the album is great too, but sadly So What and All Blues has been a bit ruined for me through jazz and bass lessons.

We had this poll before ( forum_posts.asp?TID=62775&KW=Kind+of+Blue - - Kind - of - Blue ) and I'll  vote for "Blue in Green" again closely followed by "So What", though I could go for the reverse.

This is one of those albums ingrained in my brain from being to free jazz festivals at Piedmont Park in Atlanta.  Damned if I know any of them by name. LOL

What's that one that goes dee deedle do de do dee deele doo de do dee deeldle do dee doo dee dee dee dee do?   And major bonus points if you can figure out what I'm hearing in my head.  I score some bonus points if I managed to convey it by typing it out.

OK I looked it up but am not saying. LOL

I've grew up with this album and the first two tracks always were my favorite. So What gets my vote.

All blues... all day long.  I get taken to a very special place everytime I listen to it.

But they are all incredible.. it wouldn't be the album it was if it had a weak spot.. or even a less than great one.  besides is like asking which part of your wife you love best.  You love them all.... it is the complete package man.
