Big Generator is probably my least favorite. It looks like literally no thought went into it at all. By contrast I like the 90125 cover. Equally simple, but tasteful and stylish.
It's hard to pick a favorite Roger Dean cover, but I'm going to go for TFTO and Relayer, joint best.
------------- Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

All Roger Dean Covers are nice.
Maybe Fragile with its nice colors is the best.
The covers of Yes & Time and a word aren't beautiful, but Big Generator is the ugliest.

The Yes Album cover sucks too. Thank God they met Roger Dean.

The Relayer cover equalled the fresh, invigorating nature of its contents. I saw the actual painting in the early '90s in LA up for auction. To have that over my fireplace. Fragile is the true representation of the band as it was in the early '70s (and how many choose to remember it). Talk and Magnification were both unimaginative, as was their music (just can't get into the former, and the latter was a bit too new age). Talk was a real eyesore.

Nicest: Close to the Edge (The contrast of tte sober green cover with the impresive central painting (LP version) is almost perfect.
Worst: 90125 and Big Generator..............Talk (Just not Yes), the covers are ugly per se and without the Roger Dean logo, there's no Yes.
The one I really like more is Yessongs

Too many of them are just text on a background.
But my fave: Relayer
Least fave: Big yellowy pink vulgar puke-inducing Generator
Also, the Keys I and II were ruined by the silly colour treatment. The new box set for those albums (released tomorrow I believe) has that Dean painting in it's original colour, and it looks great in comparison!

When they're stacked next to each other like that, the bad ones really pop out.
Faves - Tales and Relayer. Both fit perfectly with the moods of the albums The Yes Album is nice and economical, but still iconic in a way.
