You asked what we were watching, we responded. Not such a bad thing, I think.
Would you go into the Listening To thread and say that you hadn't listened to anything for a while?
Possibly. Not often, but I think I have already once or twice.
Then you are an egoist...or an arse.....no offense.
None taken. We are on the internet, after all.
To get back onto the topic of the thread (albeit only slightly) I would watch the new season of Futurama if our TV had cable. Alas, it's my roommate's TV and he doesn't seem to be in a hurry to hook up the cable.

I've seen the first 5 episodes and so far it's been disappointing. It's really nice to see it back in a proper short episodic format (the movies were a slog at times) but the writing has just been really below par. Mind you, rubbish Futurama is still way better than a lot of 'good' TV.

On an unrelated note...what happened to Gladiators...is it still happening?

I think Rob's unwillingness to do any more fights or anything is his not-so-subtle hint to us that he's tired of doing it. Plus I think he's on vacation at the moment.

I really shouldn't have said this and I'm sorry. Although I started this thread I don't own the forum plus I hate it when I'm told if I can post or not. So might as well let everyone get their I-don't-watch-TV posts out of the way now.

As I said, no worries...it takes a lot more than someone saying things about me on the internet to offend me - plus, if we ever do get the cable in our room, I'll be sure to post what I do watch.

*ahem*
I'm not watching anything. I haven't got cable so I guess that's why, if I ever do watch anything I'll let you guys know.

if you are lucky you can catch me watching episodes of Dr Phil only to zapp away when I feel ambarresment for those poor souls that are on the show.
I mostly watch the news, sports news, footbalanalyseprograms after the matches is over an hour of bickering, dsicussing coatches, foul situation, the referees desitions, club managments and soccer analyses is all the fun I need.
random sit-coms american and norwegian, Nickelodion, Sponge Bob, Ben 10 Alian force (yeah I'm stil a kid in an 24 old boddy , i still like to watch cartoons and escape adulthood.

The question is what are you watching NOW!!!!
Right now: the Prog Archives forum. If by now you mean "lately", then I answered that in the first sentence.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burn_notice - Wikipedia has the answer to everything there's no need to swear.
I'm not watching it RIGHT NOW, or ON TV, but I have been watching some of Strangers with Candy, but it falls into the trap that the Office often does, which is to substitute funny situations for punishingly awkward ones. Which I don't think is funny, even if they're being sarcastic. Since it's aimed at Americans I still find some of SWC funny, but I don't remember ever watching a TV show from the '70s so I can only get the jokes about transparent moralizing through second hand sources and the traces of it that have survived in modern shows. And I can't stand The UK Office at all.
I've also been watching Louie, which I find good enough to recommend, especially over his standup--which I find unnecessarily crass and vicious, and I'm shocked he didn't get divorced earlier--but it's too dry for me to find it amazing. The after the credits segment on the Bully episode was killer, though.

I think that the thread title explains everything without further need for elaboration.

I can do this voice impression of Diane that creeps my wife out. You really don't have to alter it much from the real person. "I'm Diane Sawyer and...like...I care."

Woke up early and caught the end of an American Experience documentary about people riding the rails in the great depression. It was depressing. Not much else on TV but this show called Paid Programming. Freaking awful show it is. That and a Law and Order marathon. Might have to hit a DVD if the next one is one I've seen. New one's coming on. I bet there's blood everywhere.

Any good? Caught the first episode and despite the solid writing and great supporting cast, I couldn't get into it due Amstell's self-conscious performance. It totally punctured any sense of reality for me, which is crucial for that kind of comedy.
