Computer moron here. I need something to open Zip files from a downloaded album (legal one!) Would this be a good option? Note simplicity is key here....don't care about features, etc.....just want to open this damn file and move the music to MusicMatch Jukebox. Would this work? http://www.7-zip.org/ - http://www.7-zip.org/ Many thanks for any advice. |

Thanks guys. Downloaded the 7-zip, extracted. Can't figure out how to get the file from the 7-zip area to my MusicMatch Jukebox Library so I can play it. Tried to move it, copy it, it just doesn't appear. |

You have to extract the folder to a location of your choice before using the files. If you extracted it but are still trying to open it from the 7-zip window, it won't work - figure out where you extracted it to, then try it from there. ------------- http://www.last.fm/user/Salty_Jon" rel="nofollow">

Out of convenience, I extract everything to my Desktop and then move the files where I want them. Can someone try downloading this album and see if it works for you. There's one thing we absolutely agree on. I'm a Winzip user. Before that PKZip. I don't think the built-in zip in Windows allows you to back up and restore to the same location. Quite likely I just haven't explored it enough. ------------- Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...
