1. List all PA albums that are on your ipod. (Doesn't have to be ipod.) 2. Calculate the average score (the score is found on the album's page on PA). 3. If you have too many albums, you don't have to list them all. Just choose 10 of them and calculate the score. 4. This is not a competition. Higher score isn't necessarily cooler. Actually, I think lower score is cooler, because fewer people listen to them. 5. I don't know how to calculate a weighted averge. I guess that would be too complicated. ----------------------------------------------- I'll use mine as an example. Hooray! And for once there are neither Opeth, PT nor DT, hooray! Okay, okay, I created this topic just to show that I'm a metalhead as well as a big fan of the year 2002.  -------------

Alrighty then, I've got way too many to just list, (120 gigs holds alot! (oddly enough though, I recently reached the point where I have too much music even for that)) so I'll just choose a mix of favorites and what I'm currently listening to... IQ - Frequency... 4.11 Pink Floyd - Animals... 4.49 Gazpacho - Night... 4.12 Henry Cow - Western Culture... 4.29 Outside Myself - Riverside... 4.14 Afraid of Sunlight - Marillion... 3.76 Birds of Fire - Mahavishnu Orchestra... 4.43 Radiohead - In Rainbows... 3.79 Miles Davis - In a Silent Way... 4.45 Dream Theater - Images and Words... 4.28 Average: 4.18, very average taste I suppose, I just resently started listening to the jazz fusion stuff, perhaps in the future I'll have more of those to add to my ratings  -------------

It's not that complicated to calculate a weighted average. You just multiply the scores and the ratings and then you divide that total over the sum of the total ratings. In this case: (4,25*255+3,76*24+4,26*55+4,19*175+4,25*84+4,57*44+3,78*142+2,98*26) / (255+24+55+175+84+44+142+26)
Weighted Average: 4,11 (If I didn't miss any step hehe)
