On ABWH live the opening bass line to Long Distance Runaround is in Squire's absence played on piano by Wakeman. It really works and freshens that track up no end. I also love Bruford's ratatat programmed drum solo later in the same song. In fact what a concert i recently bought the dvd on e bay for US 60 dollars and surprisingly i also recieved a bootleg of the Sydney concert by Yes last year( great show especially HOTS SSOTS AYAI and Awaken). Anyway i digress my question is do people like that wakeman version and should yes look at rearranging tracks for live shows?

| I've always hated it when a band doesn't change a song to play live. What's the point of a live album if all it is are carbon-copies of the studio take with worse sound quality? |

Good Point. I don't know, you get Gabriel dressing up in all his crazy costumes, as well as his weird monologues - that's got to add something. Videos I've seen of them certainly look cool. |

i disagree. i think seconds out is fantastic and almost every song sounds better on that album than it does recorded. ------------- Good Morning Carpark Fans
