The Gathering is a progressive Rock band from Holland and releases such as How To Measure a Planet?, Mandylion, Home, Souvenirs, and If_Then_Else are some of the greatest prog to be released in modern times. While they display a different style on each album, their fusion of gothic metal/prog/trip-rock/alternative is so fresh and original they deserve to get more recognition here in the U.K.

If you are a fan of the Dutch band the Gathering, and you would like for them to do some shows in the UK for the first time since 2003 then please join this facebook group. With the power of facebook hopefully we can get several hundred people to show their support for the gathering and get them to come to the UK again.
