Did'nt have anything better to do, and I'm having an op tomorrow, so I thought I'd list my current sounds while I've still got the chance. I sold a lot when I moved to Israel in the 80s...I wish I had'nt now, those 70s fusion albums are like gold-dust, these days.  I'm not apologising for anything that is'nt 'prog'. My tastes in music started mellowing a bit in the 80s-90s. 6 years of 'the Voice of Peace' radio station probably helped. Thanks guys,.... Shalom. Clap  ( * = number of times seen live ).

Gentle Giant (13), Yes (10), Genesis (7...lost interest when Peter Gabriel left), Gong (16)..... the list goes on. I'm not giving my age away, here, but I have NOT seen Debussy live.

My collection is'nt complete, but I'm completely happy with it.  Smile

Always thought the Kinks were a bit 'Pop' for a rock band - I got a LOT of respect for Ray Davies, tho.

MUCH preferred Rick Wakeman in YES - not too keen on his solo stuff (ie the 8 Wives of Henry VI) hehe

Who needs Sonny Rollins when you've got John Coltrane? (I've got some Henry Rollins, tho.)
But I did like his score for the Michael Caine film 'Alfie'.
(Vocals by Cher, btw) Not a lot of people know that.

OK....no Yardbirds.....no VDGG.....Sue me !!  Big smile

Found 2 drawers full of cassette tapes yesterday....have'nt been through them yet, cos' I just got out of hospital, but there's a LOT of Charlie Parker and 70s Dub in there.

If I find any 'gems',  I'll re-post !!  Smile

Ez, now !!  Wink
