Dear community of ProgArchives,
I'd like to introduce a new band: Dropshard.
Dropshard is a new progressive-rock band from Italy.
They born in september 2007 with Sebastiano Benatti (guitar), Alex Stucchi (bass), Tommaso Mangione (drums) who came from another rock-based project, Antares.

These are their links:

The lineup:
Enrico Scanu: Lead vocals, Flute.
Sebastiano Benatti: Guitar, back-vocals
Marco Zago: Keyboards, Synth
Alex Stucchi: Bass, back-vocals
Tommaso Mangione: Drums

Two self-home-recorded demos released since 2008: DSI (2008), DSII (2009 - 2010).
The first one without lead singer (Alex on vocals), the second one with the current singer (Enrico).
Now the band is writing their first CD, a concept album about "human's research". It will be probably released at the end of 2010.

The entire demos are downloadable from these links:

Hope you'll like them.
Cheers
Alex

Hello Alex, welcome to Progarchives!
Thanks for your terrific songs ... now checked your MySpace samples and been amazed.

Thick and graceful but a bit depressive and melancholic machinegun shots ... great! Clap

So whatever happened to them? I found them on Aural Moon. I like. Very... I'd have to hear more before I can judge. Did they ever get signed?
