I'm not sure where. One day ago, one Czech guy (Gandalff) contacted me and brought info that he suggested Načeva for Progressive Electronic through mail form.

I'm however not completely sure if it's Prog Electronic, because of how PA understands PE. There's a strong electronic element, but this doesn't mean Prog E. as we know. So I'm listening to her third album and wondering what it may be.

It's not bad by the way.

Last.fm tags:
czech, female vocalists, alternative, trip-hop, ambient

So does something with Ambient / Trip Hop elements have a place here ?

Because her discography counts 5 albums and I of course have them all (She's Czech and well known, even I haven't time to listen to her in this lifetime).

I'm currently listening her second album and it's something very different. Ambient is very low, Trip Hop almost invisible and different elements steps forward.

Gandalff sent two songs - 'Co tě nezabije, to tě posílí aspoň na chvíli boj se nic' from the album 'Nebe Je Rudy' is definitely impressing Clap trippy spacey with a rocking fundament

she's noted as a downbeat/triphop artist basically ... but if she has an album with songs working in this way continuously ... the psych/space team should care for ...

So I was finally able to listen to her album Nebe je rudý (thanks Marty). Really good music, and really difficult to categorize. I can't even say if it's prog. I'll have to listen some more...

Gandalff is a good guy and have quite wide knowledge about Czech scene, wider than me (because he's older) but I suppose he would choose me for talking, advocating, defending etc as I'm more skilled in English.

After all, this is what I do. Where to put it, I'm not against Psychedelic, it would be first such band from Czech Republic.

If I can remark anything about my contacts with Marty here, the main reason wasn´t his  better skills in English, but his certain influence in PA , e.g. his ability  to suggest some bands or artists from Eastern Europe especially Czech Republic. Second reason is simple: I´m busy...

^ Hey Milan, I thought you said that your English skills aren't so great in one of our PM's, haven't you ?

Marty: Yes, I have. I think it´s about courage to start writing in English, I mean I have solid basics. But my experiences with speaking is almost zero, unfortunately.
