Fix your hyperlink.
EDIT: It still sends me back to this page. Highlight it in your post editor, then click the hyperlink key, and make sure the proper address is applied to the link itself.

I am...incredi-jealous. I have a total of 4 basses, no pics of them though. I've got an upright, a Squier VM Fretless Jazz (gets the most play by far, and I actually preferred it over the Fender fretless you've got there), a Peavey P-bass with wiring problems and an off-brand 6-string which eats up strings quickly. Just so you know, if you ever feel like being generous and giving away one of your Ricks...I'll take it.

I just now noticed you also had a Wal! How much did that baby set you back?
You should record yourself playing some Tool tunes with it, if you haven't already.

^ That's a mess. Let me try to make it more clear.
Go back to the original post you made with the link.
Click 'edit post'.
Then click your mouse right next to the link itself.
Now, hold down the button, and drag your cursor over the link until it is all covered, then let go. Should be surrounded by a blue-looking box, or something similar.
Then click the button in the editor that looks like the earth sitting next to a chain link.
A new box should pop up. See where it says ''http''? Copy and paste the address of your video into the box next to that.

I'd really like to get an upright someday. That might be fun to try.
I'd have to start studying some Ron Carter and Mingus!!

Uprights look insane! Ever played one before? Even in a store, or something?

I got the WAL bass on July 21, 1993 for $3,043.00 from The Bass Centre in California.
It pretty much wiped me out for awhile, but I'm sure glad I got it.
I dont have any Tool stuff but it sounds great playing the Wal-era Rush stuff and I like playing to some of the Red Hot Chili Peppers stuff from BSSM.

Yeah. The Sam Ash store near me had one years ago and I'd go in there and screw around with it. They are hard to play. MAN!! The fingers will take a BEATING playing one of those!!
But, it would be cool to learn to be somewhat good on one.

I'm quite sure one of those Rick's is the model Micky used to have, and which went to a band end by falling down a stairwell....

You know you are a prog addict when the value of all of your bass guitars is much greater than the value of the car you drive!
Nice! That's a Chris Squire Rick, right?
The bass in my icon is my Hugh Manson fretless (John Paul Jones has the twin, "Eric The Red," he was on Saturday Night Live a week or so ago with his band "Them Crooked Vultures"...his is fretted, mine not so much.
How do I post pictures into this window?? Signed, another confused prog bassist!

Yes, that is the Chris Squire model.
#15 out of 1,000. That bass alone is worth more than my car. It has a lot less miles on it too!
I use Photobucket for pictures.
I just copy the url of the photo and paste it here.

I used to have that Geddy Lee model in the middle there, but sold it to defray the cost of a human being.
Now I rely on my Spector five string (which has recently been having connection issues ).
As a backup bass, I use an Ibanez GSR-200, which plays remarkably well (and better than many high-end basses I've played).

I've always liked the sound of those Spector basses.
Good solid ballsy growl.

I have played a few Ibanez basses and I like them too. The SR5005 is pretty nice for the price.

No kidding- that fifth string almost cracks the earth below your feet!
It is very easy to play, also, although mine could use a new set of strings.

Thanks, that gives me something to work on!
What is the finish of the Rick to the right? I have a 2001 Rick 4001 in Fireglo, yours doesn't seem to match mine, it's more of a cherry...? The Jetglo Rick is sweet!
Gotta love those Ricks, man!!

It's called Burgandyglo. It's a transparent red over the maple wood grain underneath.
