It's an exciting time for us here at Melodic Revolution Records as we are proud to announce the signing and addition of Cary Clouser & Oracle to our family. Cary is a true showman, musician and artist, painting a brilliant picture with every song that he performs to blend passion through thought provoking music with songs like Ship of Pride or It's Time Featuring Damon Shulman. It’s Time is also available on the Charity CD Songs For Haiti.

Cary graduated from Trebas Institute of Recording Arts in Toronto and has been performing for the last 25 years. Cary currently is the composer, writer and performer with Canadian progressive rock band Oracle. Cary's current solo release Finger Paintings will be the first release on Melodic Revolution Records with others to follow.

Finger Paintings:
Line up - Cary Clouser with special guest:
Gary Bray, Denis Gignac, Dylan Howe, Clayton Kelly, Brett Kull, Brandon Rotella, Damon Shulman, Marie Nobes and Mike Sorge.

Finger Paintings has had rave reviews, here is what some of the critics are saying:

Finger Paintings displays some wonderful song-craft with ample symphonic prog embellishments and inspiration. Labeled as a demo this is obviously a work looking for a label and distribution. Cary Clouser knows how to craft a nice melody and seems quite skilled at producing a very satisfying prog sound. I really liked what I heard here and here's hoping more people get a chance to hear Cary Clouser's music. If this is the start I look forward to big things in the days ahead.

This is an album that should appeal to people enjoying 70s tinged rock of the more mellow kind and in particular those who enjoy symphonic tendencies with their rock. It's not an album that will ever top the Billboard charts, but it is a fine release by a talented artist, exploring a niche of music not too many others are active in these days.
