I was just wondering if anybody has heard any Tool news? Are they still touring? Are they in the studio yet? Are they still together?! Are they in the studio? Will there ever be a follow up album to 10,000days? ARE THEY IN THE STUDIO YET!!! My ears are getting Sober without Tool.

Nothing other than what's on toolband.com or toolshed.down.net. I do hear they hare working on putting out a dvd of concert footage though, but that is probably still a while coming. If you look at past practice for tool, they usually spend a good deal of time between putting out albums. I know they wait 4-6years usually but I wasn't sure if anyone heard anything through a grapevine somewhere. I guess I could check their website though not that it will help...... *opens the coveted Undertow album and begins to listen* Ahhh.............. ------------- My entertainment dollar is burning in my pocket! |

The band has said that they aren't going to be releasing any DVDs. They're more interested in presenting their concerts as they usually are, with killer light shows and aesthetics all over the place and with decibels upon decibels of sound all over, rather than in your living room where your best conditions are a screen a few feet wide and loud surround sound speakers.
If they continue their trend, they should have a new album by 2011, just in time to tour before the world ends.  -------------
