"Believe it" is probably the best record Tony Williams ever released and one of the best jazz-fusion CD. You have to wonder whether the record company made them release a "pop" album or if they collectively had a gigantic brain fart? "You Did it to Me Baby" brlaphfff .

Remember this was the period (end of the 70's) when most of the major jazz rock and jazz funk groups were under contract to the mighty Columbia (I include Epic here too) or Warners. So either company pressure to be more commercial (e.g. IMHO |
