I cannot understand the absence of (early period) Deep Purple on Prog Archives MP3 and Reviews. These guys recorded very interesting, adventurous and classicaly influenced rock before the "smash" (in other words, boring) Lp Machine Head.

Anybody else here really familiar with their 1968 The Book of Taliesyn ??? THIS was the creative Lp that very, very first got me going into "Progressive" sounds and albums. *But I've been true-blue Genesis fan since...

OK, maybe they were more progish at the beggining, but to say that Machine Head was boring...

But yes, the Book of Taliesyn had some beautiful moments...
