My wrist is broken, so just one hand is still usable, but that can't keep me from reviewing. It's just harder, slower and, as I just realized, quite tiring. But this can't stop me from reviewing, nor can wind, sun, or angry dogs.

I think that there are few approaches to album. What do you think ?

1)Album is rated with high number of stars, but you don't like it, therefore you're trying to find reasons to sink it. Or that album is not so good and these flaws are actually here, you'll just amplify them.

2)Bad rated album, but you want to "help" it, so you're trying to find reasons why to rate highly. To make your review bulletproof. This method can also find otherwise unnoticed things.

3)Neutral, you don't know much about this album, band, or genre. So it's uncharted map.

¨Can you find more of them ? I knew about two more (at least), but my memory isn't what it used to be.

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

With one hand out of action can you effectively use just one or are you reduced to doing hunt and peck?
1. Pay no attention to ratings.  Evaluate each on its own merits for yourself.
2. Don't bother, see #1.  Always strive to write a good review.
3. If you don't know much, just wing it.

I find myself there sometimes in my own opinions.  You really don't have to take an either or position.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...
