any recommendations on books for playing flute? can't afford lessons

can't even afford a silver flute... was thinking of starting with a Woodsong bamboo flute

I don't even think Ian took formal lessons...I thought I heard that somewhere.

That's right. Somebody gave him a flute shortly before Tull recorded their first album.

Well the guy pretty much plays every instrument in "Jack-in-the-Green" on the SOTW album. Flute should be no problem.
