Evening folks
Is anyone else here a big fan of Terry Brooks, the fantasy author? I love most of his work - Specifically, the GENESIS OF SHANNARA Series. I still haven't gotten around to getting the latest in that series, but I will soon. Anyone else love the guy? -Joel. -------------

I took a peek at the first few pages of his first book the other day at my local Borders. Seems pretty interesting, though a lot of writers say he's just another Tolkein clone. I would check him out right away to give my own feelings on the matter, but I'm already backed up in books-to-read, so it may be a few months before I can get a tight grip on Brooks. |

He is quite the tolkien clone in his earlier books, but in the new Modern Fantasy books, he is quite individualistic. -------------
