I have an idea.

There are lots of books about prog music: some are dedicated to the whole genre or its sub-genres (like RPI), others are bands' / artists' biographies, memoirs etc.

I think it's worth to add to existing sections (Studio albums, Live, DVD/Video etc) the section "Books" to each band page. In case of books dedicated to genres (sub-genres) such section could be placed on genres' pages.

Then we can act like with albums - each registered member can add books, rate and review them, update releases information.

Required information for books, in my opinion, is:
1. The title
2. Author and translator (if it is translated from other language)
3. Language
4. Publisher and the year of publishing
5. Cover
6. Number of pages (optionally)
7. Brief description (is it authorized biography or band's member memoirs, guide for the music of some period etc).

I think it could be helpful to many of us. IMHO it's not a problem if many books will stay unreviewed for a long time. If you want to know more about some artist it's often enough to know what books you can try to find.

What fellow progheads think about my suggestion?
