What are you?

Take the test here: http://similarminds.com/jung.html - http://similarminds.com/jung.html

My results:

Introverted (I) 72.73% Extroverted (E) 27.27%
Intuitive (N) 63.16% Sensing (S) 36.84%
Thinking (T) 73.33% Feeling (F) 26.67%
Perceiving (P) 68.42% Judging (J) 31.58%

INTP - "Architect". Greatest precision in thought and language. Can readily discern contradictions and inconsistencies. The world exists primarily to be understood. 3.3% of total population.

Sounds like me, except depending what they mean by "the world exists primarily to be understood," that might not apply too much.

Wanna guess what profession I work in? LOL

Of course none of these say "you are a total creep, jerk, and mentally a moron, etc."Tongue

I would have to revise  "
The world exists primarily to be understood." to say that "A lot about the world can be understood these days if you take the blinders off, but don't we need some mystery to keep things fun?"  This probably means I was lying on my answers.

Much more appropriate - I am an engineer.

Aren't you looking for a mechanic then?  And don't speak of "fixing my car" I just had to get a water pump and valve gasket thingy replaced, it wasn't cheap, and I have to get two ball joints replaced before too long and that won't be cheap either not to mention around here we have to go in for emissions testing to pay a fee for the tag on our birthdays and now I've got to renew my drivers license, too I guess I could just bike to get around and eventually get run over by someone driving a big ass SUV...

Right now I'm mentally debating whether I should watch a music DVD or listen to a CD but I should really step away from the computer now. LOL

INTP. I'm not an architect but an engineer though I think a chemical engineer is not exactly an engineer.

I - yes I'm a bit introvert.

N- I tend to choose the places where I can be intuitive (hence my profession).

T - Thinking is what I realy do a lot and the test showed it (about 70%).

P - No, I judge a lot (though I can sometimes see the other's view).

It's odd 5 people confessed being INTP but I'm only the third who voted that.

I've got to take that test again - no way I can be a 'Seller'Confused! I wouldn't be able to sell anything if my life depended on it... Would " http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Provider_%28Role_Variant%29 - Provider " be more appropriate?

Quote Providers are often attracted to the sales and service occupations. They are usually good sales representatives as they are visibly and honestly interested in the customer’s welfare. They are also skilled in other people-to-people careers such as social workers, clergy and teachers.

Not particularly.... I used to be a teacher, but I am much less extroverted than the test would have me be. I am perfectly happy in my own company, and I'd rather be alone than with people I don't feel comfortable with. I am also not particularly popular with people in real life, and as a consequence I have very few friends.

The worst are the http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123129220146959621.html - 40 page automated tests they give. One of the questions is how many people do you think cheat on their taxes, along with "Do you believe that all of a person's problems are their fault?" How am I supposed to answer this crap? I can think of a million problems that are not the victim's fault, yet I am positive they want me to answer Yes, they always are because I am a drone who also takes personal responsibility. And of course 250 variations on "Do you ever think it is all right to steal?", since I'm sure thieves are too dumb to lie.
