Hi guys,
This is my new project, Death and the Maiden. It consists of famous string quartet composition arranged in a prog-metal style. Right now there's some Schubert and Beethoven, and a little Bach Sinfonia.
You can check it out at http://www.deathandthemaiden.net - www.deathandthemaiden.net or http://www.myspace.com/deathmaiden - myspace .
If everything goes well, I should be putting out an EP in a month or two
Thanks, hope you like it.

Interesting and very well done! Thanks for sharing!
Have you seen the movie "Death and the Maiden"? Great movie IMO.
Edit: And if I may suggest a possible future project (I'm sure you have enough plans of your own though): Jean Sibelius, String Quartet in D minor Op. 56 "Voces Intimae", movement 4 - Allegretto (ma pesante). I believe that could work very well with your style.

Thanks for the tip, I love Sibelius in general, but haven't really checked out his string quartet yet...will definitely do.
And no, I haven' seen the movie...in fact I didn't know it even existed until I googled the name to see if anybody had taken it. Not much of a movie buff in gerneral.
