Why do Amon Duul II threads get closed prematurely here or just disappear into some black hole? One of you guys don't like the band or what ?

A few months ago mailto:M@X - M@X locked lots of threads that had been inactive for over a year in an effort to speed-up the database access. This was purely arbitrary and not targeted at any specific band.

On a quick search I've found 9 ADII threads, (not counting this one) and 4 are still open - the latest was opened in August and was last contributed to in September. An ADII poll was opened in July 2006 and is still open with people posting as recently as October 2008. ADII make a regular appearances in the "What are you listening to now" type threads.

What's more of a "crime" is the total lack of ADII and Krautrock in the All Time Top 100 Disapprove

I for one love ADII and have most of their 70s output on vinyl, unfortuantely I can never think of anything to say about them so seldom contribute to threads about them

If there is a locked ADII thread you wish to contribute to Ian, let me know and I'll unlock it for you. Smile

It seems there is a problem with Search function.
I've just typed "los jaivas" with Match All Words option (I remember at least 5 topics existed) and get this:

^ Set the "Find Posts" date to Any Date (it defaults to Last Six Months) - I found 15 topics that way:

Thanks, Dean! I haven't notice it.

Probably it's worth to make Any Date default option.

Setting the default date to relatively recent threads puts less load on the server.Wink
