Didn't want to go with the usual "hey guys".

I do speak French though...

All right, so I'm barely getting into prog, and someone recommended this site, I got quite interested, and I figured that joining the forum was the best way to learn more and more, and more... and more.

I have a slight addiction with discovering great music.

So, some time ago, I started loving Uriah Heep, and for some reason, Ken Hensley solved my hatred of keys and synths, with the help of Rick Wakeman, so I'm at last ready to enter the wonderful world of Prog. I've been particularly obsessing over italian prog, like Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso, Osanna, Il Revescio Della Medaglia... but if you'll excuse, time to go watch Heroes.

Hi and thanks for having me!

edit: damn! no Heroes tonight!Angry Back to prog Clap

Salut camarade! Tongue

Hello and welcome to our fair forums! Good to see another Canadian, even if I'm not of the French variety.

Nope, I wouldn't even have known they were coming.

Hence the need to join a prog forum.

I've mostly been into classic rock for most of the recent years, so I have to catch up fast if I want to be able to hear about the good shows coming our ways.

Did you go? And if so, any good?

Thanks for the greetings, everyone else!

Bonjour à toi!Smile As one of the very few women here (and much older than you are tooUnhappy), I am very glad to welcome you here. Hopefully you'll stay for a long, long time.... We need other women with good taste in music here!

Ah, btw, I am Italian (from Rome), though about to move to the USA because of loveHeart. My husband-to-be is a HUGE fan of Italian prog (much more than me, I have to say), and you'll surely come across him soonLOL. No clues... You can't miss him!

Yeah. As usual, the FMPM rocked. Banco were especially awesome.

You've just got to go this year. Thumbs Up

Salut June,

Anyway, Welcome

I did one year at Concordia before transfering to McGill and I think it was German 201 that I took. It was  in two parts. Fall & Winter.
