When I first got on the forum i believed that it was gonna be all
middle aged men who are all music nerds which is all good since the
prog years were your years and there are a lot of them, but i was
surprised that there is still a pretty big following amongst the
younger crowd. When i found progressive music I thought that i had
found this awesome hidden secret like i had found Pandora's box and
that nobody reall knew about it anymore, which is fairly true for my
generation and where i live. I know Europe has a much bigger prog
following then united states does or that just may be my perception.
Europe seems to appreciate prog more. Any who lets see how many PROG
ladies there are so I can judge if this place is just a sausage fest.

The fourth choice is a misspell its DOG not GOD, had it been properly edited I would be a Zombie Woof!

Well I would assume that if they were a God, they could then shape-shift as they please. I on the other hand enjoy my shape-shifting without worrying about all other Godly responsibilities. ------------- Beauty will save the world.

I'm female, but I just joined today hoping to absorb every ounce of prog knowledge in the known universe from you guys.
I don't quite count as a true progger yet and I'm probably just messing up the result of this highly scientific poll by a) knowing squat b) listening to The Dubliners right now

I'm surprised, the gender difference in this poll isn't as huge as I thought it'd be (I'm assuming all the people who chose animal and God are male). The generation thing here is also not as apparent as I thought it'd be when I joined. I reckon prog metal is getting us younguns into it all...that, or our parents :o I'm female AND a teenager. Bet you didn't expect that! As for lyres being female, I agree. They're kind of shapely. Guitars are female. Although...perhaps not Flying Vs :S -------------

Have nobody realised that even animals usualy have a gender ? (and don't start to mention micro organisms please. These are not animals or plants but different groups). So even if you are an animal you still need to say if you are male or female.
However I want to welcome popeyethecat and june for joining us here in the kingdom of males that have no life. You were right that all votes that are not female are male, you know, male - a never mentaly growing creature !
