Fairport Convention offshoot Fotheringay appeared to be a one off album band. It turns out though they recorded a second album in the early 1970's which never saw the light of day . The tapes have now been discovered, and the album released.

It is difficult to find any official announcemnt on this, even the Fairport website has no mention.

There are some details here though: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fotheringay-Vol-2/dp/B001EN1QP0 - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fotheringay-Vol-2/dp/B001EN1QP0

I bought it this week and it is rather good.
It's a pity that Sandy didn't sing lead on more of the songs, but hey, beggars can't be choosers.

-------------

Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.
