(I really shouldn't be participating in this poll, but...)

What about Susie Bogdanowicz from Glass Hammer?  I think she's pretty.

Who am I kidding?  Every female who has ever worked with Glass Hammer could make a cartoon wolf howl and beat himself over the head with his own shoe.

Anne-Marie Helder, Livvy Sparnenn and Heather Findlay - surely Mostly Autumn must have the best looking female line up around.

Ouch. At first, I thought this poll was somehow related to Camel. Since it is not, I can not write my usual "Mirage wins" here. So..Marcela Bovio wins that one for me, musical (listen to her vocals in Elfonía, especially their second album) and.. otherwise Wink

From the list, Simone Simmons, also for her works with Epica and those other certain reasons.

I wonder when all those Hawkwind fans will post here.. either they did not see this poll yet or they have realized that this was some 30 years ago. If it was only musical, though, I'd chose Kate Bush.

I agree. Guilty of a little Zeuhl drool for Yamamoto Kyoko myself.  But I think the insane barefoot keyboard player, Kanazawa Miyako, has a little more cuteness going for her. Kyoko has the elegance factor.

I prefer Mia, her nice, striped sweater and violin to any of the women in the poll. But the real bonus is that she's in a band that actually makes great music: Kayo Dot. But here's a http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uues2z6ylsU&feature=related - clip with her in Tartar Lamb instead.

Had a crush on Kate Bush when I was about nine-ten (and she was ca. 25). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ga13dRiebcc&feature=related - As for a more recent crush :

Btw: Hawkwise: Surely you could find a better image of Annie than that one.

So we've gone into the Open Miss Prog Election! Well, now I'm joining in, let me choose between #1, #2 and #5 (#3 is double dutch: two for the price of one and I should replace #4 by Alanis Morissette because this one is not the goose which give me the bumps). Let me deliver #1 from her undeserved zero, although she looks a bit too neo-Gothic for my taste.

By the way, my choice is not troubled by my limited knowledge of their musical output.

Now Rachel Cohen, she married the bass player.

Not one of the best pics of her I've seen, from their web site.  By the way, the new album is excellent.

Poor Michael truly needs some psychological help. Too many surgeries and too much bleaching. The guy has talent. Maybe he needs to be schooled and mentored by Quincy Jones again.

So that's where all the prog reviewers hang out !!!!!!!!  Well, it's understandable since there are too few women in progworld (both active and passive). I usually don't visit the general discussions but since beautiful women are just about on the same level as prog to me where the importance in my life is concerned I will have to do this one time visit.

Let me put it this way: it's a pity Evanescence isn't prog (yet a good band btw)

http://www.amyleeworld.com/evanescence_pictures/amy_lee_gallery_01/content/evanescence_amylee77_large.html">evanescence_amylee77

And if I have to stick to prog I go with E-dub (please add a picture next time dude Cool )

Vibeke Stene reminds me of this woman I was friends with in high school (had the same visual arts class) and bumped into at this year's Roskilde Festival in a fit of synchronicity. She, in turn, reminds me of a taller version of how Jodie Foster looked in The Silence of the Lambs. So Ms. Stene gets my vote.Cool
