Pretty simple.

I can't vote since I'm on Neptune but I think I'd go for Obama if I cared about these things.
even in the elections I'm eligible to vote in I tend to write in Vlad Lenin

What's the question:
- Who will win?
or
-Who would you like to win?

They both suck.
Obama's skill set seems to consist entirely of making speeches. That's nice and all, but it isn't terribly useful as far as turning the country around is concerned. And McCain wants to stay in Iraq for 100 more years.

I would be upset about the lack of the Libertarian party here, but Bob Barr sucks so hard that I have no objections to his exclusion.

New one is a complete idiot.
Obama wants to win as much as anyone, and his vacuous stances reflect that.
He's being timid now.
I'll probably vote for either Barr or Obama.e's not white and old.

I wish when I typed RON PAUL REVOLUTION people would understand I was being ironic because Ron Paul is insane. Le sigh.
Speaking of Ron Paul: just so we're absolutely clear: the racist who supposedly wrote Ron Paul's newsletters, whose views Ron Paul does not agree with in any way, is speaking at Ron Paul's protest convention?

HC and Obama flaming one another even if they're supposed to be representing one party, and then HC recommends the Americans vote for Obama after having spent millions of (other peoples') dollars and months of trailing around to show what a bunch of crap he is! That's INSANE!!!!

How should I know? I'm not the one who decided on it. Besides, even if I did know I wouldn't be foolish enough to reveal it and get the men in suits after me.
EDIT: On second thought, I might just as well let you know. Sadly, they've chosen McCain. It doesn't matter who you vote for, they will count the votes but nobody will count all the votes, which is why it's easy for the guys who really decide on these matters to throw in some random, yet believable number: "McCain won with 53.4% of the votes", or something like that.

Right now neither. Anyone who wants "real change" to quote one of the candidates would not vote for either as well. Either one is going to raise taxes, spend more and make government expand. They are both insiders in that they are part of the machine. They have to ask for favors to get elected and then have to repay those after they get elected. There are no Mavericks here.
I am pretty depressed and disappointed.

That was a question, not a twisting of your words. If you want to see the evidence, Greg has plenty to back up what he's saying. You might start with his book, The Best Democracy Money Can Buy. Of for free you can go to his web site and check out a couple of BBC TV broadcasts on the subject of the 2000 and 2004 elections.
Actually, I can attribute 9/11 to incompetence and indifference. There is of course no shortage of people with looney theories about that. Guess you totally missed my joke there. You were offering to kill yourself if someone started up a 9/11 truther thread.

Besides the hilarious and classy commentary, that is a very poorly photoshopped version of the head from this picture:
Stupid, unfunny, wildly inappropriate commentary.
Someone who knows how to use to Photoshop a little bit better, although that is also a much easier job, but still stupid and tasteless if it's implying what I think it is.

No, I don't think those are funny either. Those types of things have always annoyed me more than anything else. It's not like I actually like Palin at all, it just baffles me that people still think that insinuating Trig is not her baby, or saying George W McCain is still funny or clever. What will you post next, thinly hidden jokes about how attractive Palin is? Because we all know she's a candidate we can get behind, if you know what I mean.
And it's an objective fact that most of those editing jobs are atrocious and lazy, despite what you think of the humor behind it.

all well and good then there are people who actually get offended by this stuff though, had an encounter with one a few days ago who said he was ethnically Jewish but religiously Catholic he got offended when I said Hitler was a good public speaker which is stupid because he was how else do you get a nation of people to kill that many people
end of tangent
as for the election, I can't really say who I'd vote for either...might leave it up to a cointoss. What annoys me though is me saying I'm undecided, the people spewing OH BUT YOU HAVE TO VOTE ITS YOUR DUTY. Well, would you rather me vote for some random person without any foundation whatsoever?

thanks man, it's really a strange feeling...sort of like when you think about the universe being endless for a while, you can just feel the circuits flying loose in there. Next thing y'know, you're regaining consciousness in a pool of Diet Sprite haha.

Why can such a magnificent country CONSTANTLY have only 2 alternatives? Weird, man , really , really strange . So extremist! Why not a strong third option ? Pretty wobbly democracy , if you ask me. But as a foreigner, I guess I cannot complain!

I actually did complain but covered myself with my passport! . Actually, most people worldwide actually like americans (I love them personnaly) but the Politics are abysmal, I mean really very very poor. Can there not be someone smart out there , to lead the country, like, properly . Nothing wrong by being strong, protecting interests but be smart , fer cryin' out lewd!

They are abysmal. What's even more amazing is that as far as a real political/ideological spectrum is concerned, the Dems and Republicans aren't really that different - the problem is pandering to this or that group and obviously wasteful spending. Neither party wants to really address the hard problems and give an honest appraisal, but I suppose that's politics the world over.

Here's a fun US presidential election factoid: "
What If the Electoral College is Tied?
Many people have asked: "What happens if the electoral college is tied at
269-269?" For example, look at the map of http://www.electoral-vote.com/evp2008/Pres/Maps/Aug24.html - Aug. 24 .
If it ends up like this and McCain wins Virginia, the final result is 269-269.
What next?
If no candidate for President receives 270 electoral votes (either due to a
269-269 tie or a third-party candidate has won a few electoral votes), the newly
elected House chooses the President, with each state having one vote... ...However, all this assumes that all representatives vote the party line. But
consider http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephanie_Herseth - Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (D-SD) and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earl_Pomeroy - Earl Pomeroy
(D-ND) . The Republicans carried both states by over 20 points in 2004 and
2000 and probably will again. What will they do? Pomeroy is 56 and his been in
Congress for 8 terms, so he qualifies as a senior guy who won't be pushed around
easily. Herseth Sandlin is only 37 and this is only her second term.
Furthermore, she knows very well that she got her job because many voters fondly
remember that her grandfather was once governor. There will be immense pressure
on the poor woman to vote the way her state did. If both of them vote for
McCain, he becomes President. If they split and it becomes 25-25, then the House
will unable to elect a President. In that case the Vice President elected by the
Senate (with each state having two votes, one per senator) acts as President.
The Democrats are likely to hold a minimum of 55 seats in the new Senate, so in
that case Joe Biden would become acting President. This scenario would also mean
that if Pomeroy votes for McCain, then Herseth Sandlin could make McCain
President or Biden President depending on her vote. Ditto Pomeroy if Herseth
Sandlin votes for McCain. And by the way, Rep. Mike Castle (R) is the sole
representative from heavily Democratic Delaware, a fact Joe Biden will surely
bring up if it gets this far. The whole thing could make 2000 look like a
clean-cut victory." The Votermaster Read more at http://www.electoral-vote.com/ - http://www.electoral-vote.com/ Be afraid, be very afraid!

We'll be fighting in the streets With our children at our feet And the morals that they worship will be gone And the men who spurred us on Sit in judgement of all wrong They decide and the shotgun sings the song
I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around me Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again
The change, it had to come We knew it all along We were liberated from the foe, that' all And the world looks just the same And history ain't changed 'Cause the banners, they all flown in the next war
I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around me Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again No, no!
I'll move myself and my family aside If we happen to be left half alive I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky For I know that the hypnotized never lie
Do ya?
There's nothing in the street Looks any different to me And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye And the parting on the left Is now the parting on the right And the beards have all grown longer overnight
I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around me Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again Don't get fooled again No, no!

If 200 million voters are counted on a direct basis this risk is practically zero. In case of a tie, then the eldest will win and if both were born the same day, the one with the eldest mother and so on... very simple.

McMummy has no japanese blood that I know of so I guess you can call it what you like... specially since the "other side" never takes days off calling Obama or any liberal all kind of things....
Liberals are pussies. While republican media like Fox News is completely dedicated to its cause, liberals tends to want to show the two sides of the coin. Yes, that's what good media is all about. Sadly, when one side has combat horses and the other one doesn't... we have 8 (and now prospective 12) years of the same atrocity....
