Nearly every  band recorded a double, triple....live record during the 70's....but Pink Floyd, so apart from the Umma Gumma live side and the forgettable 'Delicate Sound...' there is no official live record...I always found this strange, having seen PF in the 70's I found  their live shows were much better then their records IMO Nothing against Alan P. but I find the studio records to clean and polished while I love the rougher side of the live recordings....better crunchier solos etc

Now this cuty is a 1974 soundboard recording with a very good and balanced sound and without any flaws

It presents a fantastic DSOTM plus an eqally great Echoes version.....the DSOTM is less stiff and all the VCS sounds got a far better spaced sound...Gilmore's playing is at it's best (especially compared to his lame last solo record) Wright plays some groovy solos and the soulish backing vocals throughout the entire concert give a bluesy, funky and soulful touch to the muisc, even Echoes gets less clinique with the b- vocals and a nice Dick parry sax solo.....and Yes there is no dark side of the moon!
