Hello , to all proggers feels that , one way or another , concerned about this forum . I'm proud and
honoured to be a Newbie , i'm in fact an old retired pilot of 54 years old experience , i'm willing to share this
pages with you , discussing our favourite music , bands and all progressive thoughts and activities . Excuse my poor international english language , and here we go with my first thought =====
---- If they gave you the chance to change , the first position in Top 100 ( all times ) , what will be your favourite album instead of Thick as a Brick for Jethro Tull .
---- Yes , best album instead of fragile .
---- KIng Crimson album instead of Red .

Nice post!
For Tull, if I had to leave Thick As A Brick behind, I'd either go for Aqualung or A Passion Play, but I'm not sure which. Probably Passion Play, since it's much more complex and interesting, even if there's a very emotional aspect to Aqualung.
For Yes, Close To The Edge any day. Fragile's solo ideas are mostly feeble (with only Howe's Mood For A Day really redeeming it), Tales is a little more meandering and less focused.
Larks' Tongues In Aspic is my favourite album, so it easily deposes Red. Red is probably my least favourite of the first 8 Crimson albums (live ones excluded), and I don't have Beat yet.

Thanks for replying to my new post ,,, Seniors ,,, When i've said , i'm proud to be a newbie , i mean't that , life is a very short proccess , But still ,i'm trying to live it in a correct way. I have no doubt that before i join progarchives activities, i was less than a newbie ........ i had the good taste for music in general , having so far the best archive in the world , but there was always BUT !!!!!! sOME SILLY , but CRITICAL questions come always to my mind as an old progger , this post is one of them. If i had the chance to reply to this post professionally , as an old timer , and as a musician , my answer will be as follow === No album available in my opinion , available to replace TAAB , as number 1 .................not inTull's collection , not even in other bands collections . This Masterpiece was & still the Godfather of our Progressive mania , the way we dream about it . It cannot be touched , modified , performed live , not even translated to any other language . So , i've seen Tull's in action since 1974 , they always avoid to play TAAB LIVE ON STAGE , except for few minutes , to satisfy the crowd . Still ,,,,, if i use my own judgement about this question , without taking into consideration many essential facts , i would say === If TAAB is the most popular and deserves to be a # 1 and a Masterpiece , A Passion play ( the most complicated Tull's albums ) deserves to have more recognition from real proggers . it's in my humble opinion the best Tull's releases since 1969 . And , deserves to have 5 stars in progarchives ( instead of three ) it was the real birth of Progressive folk rock , and a twin to TAAB . Relayer or Close to the Edge instead of Fragile ///////// for Yes Larks Tongues in Aspic instead of Red ,,,,,,, by all means , AND i insist //////////// Tracks Toni
