I like this kind of stuff. It's interesting!
Raise your hands if you've played Metal Gear Solid ( and 2, 3, and 4 )? It is at times haphazard and way ambitious, but it captures a vision of the future that I think is very very possible. And it deals with all of the stuff in this article, very eloquently and artistically.
Anyways...
Not that I'd want to live forever, but I would like to screw with silly Mother Nature. What's the worst that could happen? Millions of people die in The Robot Uprising of 2108? Good, the world's population will be like 15 billion by then. The more people that die, the better.
