I sincerely recommend this band from Argentina, ultra experimental, somehow The Red Masque meets VDGG in Spanish with a female vocalist.

That was a real pleasure listening to those myspace tracks.  Listening again.  One of the most enjoyable projects I've heard in quite some time.  I must get the albums.

Usually I don't like so complex music, but I received the album from the label (along with one by Hyacintus and another one from Tanger already added and reviewed) and inmediately noticed Factor Burzaco was something special.

If you need any help for addition, I'll be glad to help

Iván

It is a very good RIO inspired band.  It's rather like Thinking Plague, only I like this more.  It's really terrific music for my tastes.  And complex in that it sounds at times like two sets of music are playing at the same time, but it works without becoming a mess.  Aside from a  Henry Cow and ilk influence, as well as similarities to bands such as as U Totem, Volapuk, 5UU's and Thinking Plague, and the singer reminds be a bit of Bjork too, there's some very BUBUish music there (particularly noticable in "Mesianic").

I'll gladly accept this offer as I don't understand their bio too well, in their Myspace.

Has Factor Burzaco been added to the chart yet? I didn't see their name on the ZART chart - I can try to add it because I think they belong.

Nah, they are not on the chart, just did some voting then and couldn't see them. I cannot remember how to add bands on that site - been too long. Great music, promising band on the whole, had some grips with a couple of minor passages but over really liked this... which is a rare thing for me these days. Will be ordering this one next time I get paid.

Adam (BV)

p.s. I'm struggling with my other account at the moment, some technical issue which are not abating.

Avestin, I already sent you the bio that the label and Abel (The composer of Factor Birzaco and owner of the project), it's the same from their website but they confirmed me they wanted this, I made a small addendum what I already informed Abel.

Also a photo of Abel (there are no photos of the band).

Hope you can use it.

I just heard these guys on MySpace and I really dug what I heard so far. Kind of reminded me a bit of Thinking Plague/Henry Cow meets 20th century modern classical. I am going to have to pick up their album. Wayside has it I hear.

Thanks Prog Brazil, I'm not reviewing as much as I wish) then the bios being added take a lot of time.

Yesterday night I had to write a bio about a band named OSIRIS from Bahrain Shocked and for OPUS EST, which had less than one parragraph bios in Neo Prog, good stuff by the way specially OSIRIS which I bought very cheap in a Peruvian store.

But the Factor Burzaco review is originally here, sadly the only one by now.

I'd write a glowing review if I had the album yet.  I don't review much (yeah, just one at this site), but this is one band that majorly caught my interest.  On a tangent, I should write a review for Jean-Paul Prat's Masal -- one of my first evaluations, and an album I love that no one has reviewed yet.

I just ordered this CD: I can't wait... Thanks again for the notice Ivan!

btw - I noticed you are a college teacher, and then that you used the word 'deconstruction,' and it peaked my notice as I just finished reading some Derrida - what is your specialty/interest[s]?
