I'm wondering what others think about this album. I picked it up a couple weeks ago, but didn't really listen to it through until yesterday. I think this album is really solid! It has an interesting sound too... it sounds like the perfect cross between

poor production, but a wonderfull album, with some nice orchestration.

Unfortunatly Peter Banks guitar is hardly present, it's put back in the mix. Songs are great, but I think this album could have been better with Steve Howe at guitar and a bi

My first Yes album. I think it's alright, definately not their best, but not bad.

This album suffers from the sophomore blues. The title track is alright though.

Certainly Astral Traveller and The Prophet are indicative of where the band was going. What is obvious is the need for a stromger keyboard player, one who could exploit the music further than what Kauye was willing to do. However, Yes was going to have

it has a nice sound of its own. it doesnt really sound like classic yes at all. its quite good though. i like it.

Yay, 'Time and a Word'!  My second Yes purchase after 'Relayer'.  I play this one more often than, f'r'example, 'The Yes Album'.  Can't really pick out a single duff track, and the organ & orchestra sound makes it a very rich album.

I think it's definately worth picking up, after all of Yes's other material that is better. In my opinion, it is a lot better than their debut, which really didn't do much for me.  But Time and a Word isn't bad- I enjoy an occasional listen from it.
