Hi all, We have been working hard lately to setup an interesting email newsletter sent out weekly to wrap up the good stuff of the last week of action at PA (www.progarchives.com) . Key details:

If anyone is updating their e-mail address, remember to check the option not to show it publically is selected (unless you actually want it to be visible).
By the way, in case anyone is concerned, the e-mail addresses are no longer used to identify reviewers, so it is OK to change them.

I just received it. I'm almost speechless, it's very complete and very well made. There is still room for improvement, especially regarding presentation, but for now it is sublime. Congratulations!

Thanks for the commen Kotro, can you be more specific about your suggestion regarding presentation ? I know some EMAIL software will "break" the presentation off , but with Yahoo! and GMAIL the look is simple but it's ok this way for now. Focus is on content for the coming months. I have not been able to test it on all email software , so if some can send screenshots here or to my email [email protected] for me to check irregularities and fix them , that would be fine. yep, very nicely done. I found the video section very helpful and it's overall a good way to stay up to date on events at the site and in general with the music IMO it would be cool if we could arrange some kind of voting to award the top reviews - it's been mentioned before -...there could be a part recognizing exceptional reviews and reviewers as determined by the site/members. ------------- Signature Writers Guild on strike |

yeah, not having noticed this thread before (wonder why  ), the first feed hit my junk folder; luckily I check my junk everytime I look at my mail and it didn't go to waste... even then, I had a suspicion that it could have been some kind of spam/phishing before I checked the content and satisfied ...that said, do we need to "subscribe" in order to keep receiving it? That's what I understood from the first post in this thread. Or, does it take to "unsubscribe" in order to get it no more (which is not my intention anyway)? Though I'm not interested in every single development in the site (especially concerning all "new" prog releases...), it might be good to keep an eye of the site outside of the collaborators' zone every now and then ------------- Listen to Turkish psych/prog; you won't regret: Baris Manco,Erkin Koray,Cem Karaca,Mogollar,3 Hürel,Selda,Edip Akbayram,Fikret Kizilok,Ersen (and Dadaslar) (but stick with the '70's, and 'early 80's!) |

Have PA members discuss (via skype or similar programs) releases , news, and reviews of the week. Have another section discussing the most popular/controversial/interesting forum topics. Also, depending on legalities, have a segment for new audio tracks and whatnot. |
