Hey everyone, So ever since I got this awesome new internship at UMGD I have been exposed to a bunch of new music that I normally wouldn't listen to. I have always been a long time fan of progressive music but when I hear this new artist named Marie Digby, I was quite surprised. She is a singer/songwriter who is best known for her cover songs, particularly Rhianna's Umbrella. Anyway, I heard a few of her original songs off of her new album that comes out 4/8/08 called unfold and I absolutely loved it. Her voice is so gentle and soothing and her lyrics and music are so well-thought out and well written, its wonderful. She has some music up on her YouTube channel (http://youtube.com/mariedigby) if you want to check her out. It pays to be open to new genres of music and new artists. Lucy |
