Greetings, folks. I am 3243, and my favorite prog groups are (in no particular order) Yes, Genesis (pre-And Then There...), Egg, Hatfield and the North, Happy the Man, the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Gentle Giant, Ash Ra Tempel, Soft Machine, Thinking Plague, and Tortoise, to name a few. I also dig such artists and groups like the Grateful Dead (especially their live recordings from 1968-69 and 1972-74), Jefferson Airplane, Love, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Eugene McDaniels, War, Roy Ayers, early Kool and the Gang, Funkadelic, Mahler, Debussy, Lou Harrison, Olivier Messiaen, and Morton Subotnick.
I also am into literature, poetry, plein-air painting, and I'm an Oakland Raider fan (even though they suck right now).

Thanks to each of you! :) And HughesJB4, "3243" is inspired by the uniform numbers of the starting safeties on the 1970s-era Oakland Raiders: Jack Tatum (32) and George Atkinson (43).
