i always wondered if it is the actor patrick macgoohan's voice in the intro, because it was taken from the British series the prisoner.

this iron maiden track is among my favorite ones! so catchy and addictive, man! very impressive!

You wondered? Isn't it a direct recording of the intro section to the series? Incidentally, does anybody like the Prisoner? I saw it on BBC Four at about three o' clock in the morning repeatedly several months ago and loved it to bits!

I was a Prisoner fan when it first appeared on American TV.  Only 17 episodes, but every one of them a "progressive" gem!  Indeed, the show was way ahead of its time conceptually.  It is still among my favorite shows to watch.

Always thought it ironic that when McGoogan went (back) to the USA, he ended up playing  governor of Alcatraz as support to Clint Eastwood

I didn't even know it was a TV show

I thought it was just a piece of conversation made by Iron Maiden in their song

Has anyone heard the Fozzy cover of that song? Bloody amazing! And pretty funny at the spoken intro thingy.
